Boost Mobile! $50!?!?

hiya! i have a couple of questions about boost mobile.... is it really true that i can get everything (talk, text, internet. etc) for only 50 dollars? and if so what the drawback?? do they have bad signal or something...? if anyone has this deal , please do share!!! thank you! and if you know of any other deals i would love suggestions^.^ . thank you in advance! =D
