Tell me about your gastric byp nightmare. It can't all be good and I want honest replies.?

The media is really hyping up gastric byp surgery, and you constantly hear all the good it does. I am worried that in the long term this is going to hurt a lot of people. The doctors seem to forget that the patient is despirate to lose the weight and it sounds good now, but gesh. I have been through the screening and even though they tell you that you could die from it, sometimes I think I rather take my chances on a heart attack than live how I would have to after the surgery. I just want to hear from people who have nothing to gain or benefit, telling me their own experiance. Thank you!
