What am I supposed to think???

I took this woman I've been talking on the phone with for about two weeks on a date...the date was filled with problems which affected our conversation (plz don't ask). I had already planned a second date. But she couldnt go b/c her grandmother had to go to the hospital. I thought I ruined it for good so I took another woman on the second date. The day after, the first woman was texting me several times about what was going on in her life. She seems exhausted and said that she was still interested in me but needs time to think and she promises to keep in touch. I sort of believe her but why doesn't she just call and say that? She said she is on the verge of meltdown. I told her I am here for her. Will she ever call or should I call her after she said she will be in touch with me?
