Overrated or Underrated?

I Definitely think that Avenged Sevenfold,Vampire Weekend, Jack Johnson,Dixie Chicks,James Blunt,Pearl Jam,Alanis Morrisette,and Nine Inch Nails are overrated! Theyre okay, but not THAT good. As for Paul McCartney & Wings,Dire Straits,Poison,Elvis Costello,The Kinks,Marie Digby, and Depeche Mode, Theyre underrated (or I don't know them). I dont get why some people say Depeche Mode are overrated; theyre not! Theyre music is unique and helped spark their genre of music; theyre not overrated, just talented.
