Area of a 30-60-90 triangle?

ok I have identified the triangle aas a 30-60-90, but now I must find the area of it, But I am only given the length of the hypotenuse which is 4. I know that the answer is 2*sqaure root of 3 but I do not understand how they got that answer. Please explain. Use of pictures would be helpful
