How do you know if you should go to therapy?

speaking of first hand expeirience, therapy isn't for everyone. I've had clinical depression for 4 years and therapy only made things worse for me. But i feel like it could be different for you, i don't like to open up and tell my most secret feeling to a complete stranger, but judging that you feel comfortable asking anyone out there willing to answer for help you probably have an easier time opening up to people. If you feel like you need someone to talk to and are comfortable with it therapy might be a good move. The one thing i've learned is you have to know what makes you happy to be happy, and it sounds easy but really isn't. The biggest thing that can help you when your confused is to find something to dedicate your life too. The one thing that helped me more than anything and i owe my life too is football. You need to find a pion and i gaurentee their is one out their that suits you. A therapist may be able to puzzle your emotions together and find that perfect thing that can help you.
