I need a Birthday Idea for Winter/Nov baby?

My daughter turns 1 Nov 13th. We live in California so the weather won't be just TOOO chilly but it won't be a sunny day. What kind of ideas can I do for her birthday as far as where to have it or what to do...? we'll probably have about 20-30 guests (mostly kids and their parents)
