Morbid i know but i need to know what would happen to my child if i was to die?

You cannot "leave" a child to someone in a Will, but you can state your wishes - this would have a strong effect on any court case. Speak to a Solicitor and get a detailed Will drawn up. Don't try to do it yourself as the wording could be ambiguous.
