Relationship question...girl and guy advice?

so...today is my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend....i had to work from 11-2 this afternoon when i got home my boyfriend was just waking up. i asked him if he had to work today..he said that he did...from 5pm till 11 tonight. would you be mad if your b/f or g/f dint ask off for work ? even though he did for 420, i mean ....come on...i know i had to work today but it was for a few hours and its not like he was awake to notice.. would you be up set if you had to spend your anniversary at home....alone....for 6 hours? its kinda dragging me down. i mean....he hasn't even acknowledge that he even remembers that our 2 year is today. i didn't mention anything to him yet about it or not because i don't know if he has anything planned for when he comes home or not. if he doesn't do anything, should i ask him if he forgot ? money is kinda tight and it doest matter if he even gets me anything or not. all i got him was a card. but all i am expecting is a happy anniversary from him .
