Ovulation question?? ?

When will i ovulate? I had wht suppose to b my period on july 4 it was actually just brown and red spotting only whn i wiped it got heavier on the 5th and by the evening on the 6th it had stopped to only spotting pinkish orange.. (anyone knws wht tht was about)? My other question is whn do i need to have , whn will i ovulate?
