What would you do in this situation?

I agree with the aspects of you actions. I disagree with the girls' choice to throw the cup out the window. As, being a bossy person, I would have asked them to pick it up even though it is common sense that they would not. Hopefully you did not get in trouble for your actions. That is great that you are taking the cles that you are!
