Your question makes NO sense. USB is serial DATA communications, exactly like a RS-232 serial port is... you know, the 9 or 25 pin connectors that you use with a standard external telephone modems, or if you are old enough, serial printers or terminals. The standard telephone modem takes digital signals on the serial line and converts it to tones which are sent down the og phone line. The return signal is simply another set of tones to keep incoming and outgoing data separate. There are NO "smarts" in a USB port OR a standard RS-232 port. The wireless router MAY have a USB port to connect it to your computer to use with, or instead of, Ethernet, but that is where the similarity STOPS. The ports on the router are "smart" in that they know how to transmit and receive TCP/IP packets of data. The wireless portion is simply a transceiver device connected to ONE port on the router, and is in itself a router for the radio signals it sends and receives, connecting to external devices. Wireless is just a form of glorified party line. When one device transmits, everyone else listens and waits their turn. THEN, everyone starts shouting in an effort to be heard. Any collision and BOTH parties lose the data, and have to try again. Packets expire, which is called "time to live". After a fixed amount of time, if the sender receives no acknowledgment that the packet was received, it tries sending it again, and again, and again, and repeats until if finally gets through. The problem with any party line is collisions which slows down throughput for everyone. (cable advertises HUGE speeds compared to DSL, but cable too, is a big party line with all of the customers on your part of town covered by the cable that simply is split to go to each house. Is it ANY wonder, people see the system slow down at "peak hours" such as after school and early evening? My DSL is constant because in essence, I am hooked via the phone line directly to a port on my ISP's router. I share the line with no one else, so no collisions with other users means I do NOT drop packets.) Anyway, you won't be connecting a standalone wireless device to a USB device directly. It will have to go through something like a computer with enough smarts to handle the USB device AND the wireless access point to get them talking to each other. You MAY have a lot of experience with electronics, but you fail to understand the difference between a simple transceiver replacing wires to send og signals and digital signal packets of data. That said, I do have a Western Digital Wireless Hard Drive. It is a "network attached storage" device (NAS). It has an Ethernet port, a wireless access point and USB ports built in to a single device in an enclosure. I can add a USB hard disk (or flash drive) and make it available to use as just another network drive in the same manner as the internal hard disk. I can connect to it with a laptop through the wireless access point, since it is a rudimentary web server. Once configured, it can use hardwire Ethernet or wireless to connect to my home network. It must be initially configured to set up the wireless through the hardwire Ethernet port, but once configured, I can unplug the physical wire and use it as a wireless standalone hard drive. There is no reason why I could not run the drive off a battery instead of the wall wart power supply. So, I hope you can see that what you are asking is mixing apples an oranges and why I stated your question makes NO sense, at least not to ME anyway... It sounds top me like what you want to do is use a USB camera remotely... IF so, there IS something you CAN do, MAYBE, a wireless modem pair, sometimes called a "short haul" modem pair. This is a special form of modem. It does NOT hook to the telephone line, but rather the port directly to transmit RS-232 signals from any serial port to any other serial port located somewhere else. These used to be used with serial printers or terminals to connect to a mainframe without running a 25 conductor cable. The wireless link simply replaced the hardwire cable between two RS-232 ports. I do NOT know if anyone makes a serial transceiver pair (such as wireless terminals used by mainframes) for USB. I leave THAT research as an exercise for the student... which would be YOU...

I read on ehow.com that one way to quickly defrost your car windshield is to pour some rubbing alcohol into a spray bottle and then to spray your windshield with it. well...your 82 is an early computerized vehicle [ unless it's a truck,then it depends on the model] so you should have the H.E.I. ignition system. now does your 350 have the same ignition? except for two extra spark plug terminal,s? if so then red wire,s are hot lead,s, black are ground,& what,s left are for tachometer/computer information...you should be able to connect the brown & green together but without researching the wiring diagram,s I can't say with certainty...it's been a long time since I worked on that sort of modification...also does your 350 distributor have pick up coil? next to the ignition module? if so you will have 2 extra wire,s to contend with...is it equipped with a vacuum advance module or pod? these thing,s should be taken into account if your going to use the stock computer...your best bet would be to use the computer & ignition system [ as well as all other sender,s & control,s] from a donor vehicle of the same or close year & model....good luck!

My name is Josh. I used to live in Illinois. I moved to Wheeler, Wisconsin in September, and to Apple Valley, Minnesota in January to live with my Fiance. It took me 4 and a half months to find work, when I came across a medically challenged customer transport company. I went through a week and a half of interviewing and preparation for the job and I started training on the 22nd of February. I had had previous courier experience, taxi driving experience, and towing experience, plus other delivery experience. Each of the people that I had met for interviews and had talked to within the company, knew I was from a different state. The main people were telling me I was doing well, the trainers were telling me and the bosses were telling me that I was doing well; that I was learning quickly. I was being told that I would have a company van to drive and begin working on my own by the 25th of this month. This morning (the morning of the 24th I was told that my trainer was not picking me up as usual. I called the office and was told by one of the receptionists that the Driver Boss, did not know that I had just moved from another state, and for that reason had decided I would not be able to find my way around the areas that they drive in because (even though I had experience using map books, and I own a gps - which is what all the drivers in the company use anyway to find their way around). Now, during my interview process, I had already told him where I had lived before. Not only that, but his sister, his son, and his niece (all who work at the company) knew I had just moved to Minnesota. I spoke to my two trainers and both of them told me that the Driver Boss had called them the night before asking how I had been doing, and both of them told me, that they had told him I was doing very well in the training, that I was following and finding directions very well, and had picked up on all the procedures faster than others they had trained. I tried many times today to get a hold of the Driver Boss, speaking to everyone but him, but every timeI was given the run around. I have been told by my trainers on numerous occasions now that they themselves, as well as many other drivers lived out of state before coming to Minnesota and knew nothing about driving around and finding their way around until they started working the job and bought GPS's to help them. I was also told that each of them, including recently new drivers had had trouble finding their way, calling the dispatcher many times to ask directions, and I have not had to do that at all during training, nor would I, as I am an excellent reader of maps, I have a very good direction sense, I have a map book, and I have a GPS. I have not been given any good reason to have been let go without being given even one day's chance to prove myself on the road alone (as every other driver has gotten). The only think I can think of is that I have longer hair, which (in the company's employee handbook IS ALLOWED, as long as it is pulled back, which mine was). I believe I am being discriminated against in this case and wish to know what I can do. Please help me. This job was to be my livelihood, and my fiance and I could lose our place to live, our vehicle, and more if I don't have this job. Please, tell me if I have a case at all, and if there is anything that can be done. Honestly, all I truly want is my job and my chance to prove myself at said job, but if they are not willing to give me that, then I'd like to run them through the ringer for discrimination and get some sort of compensation for the amount of money that I would have been able to get in the long run from having the position. I need someone that will tell me if I have a case and someone that will only charge me if we win in court.

Most likely what you are noticing is the bluing wearing off where the barrel and the receiver hinge on each other. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done to remedy this. Manufactured home is way too cold. Need help to cozy it up, please!?

This is a double-wide, 9 years old, well-maintained, in the northwoods of Wisconsin. I KNOW it is really cold, but this is just over the top. One end, especiallly, is almost impossible to get over 50 F. The furnace seems to be working, but am not sure thermostat is accurate. That is, it may be not kicking in when it should. Can anyone give me any hints as to how to warm it up? I do have a woodstove in the front room, and a fireplace in the back, but don't use the fireplace in back as too much heat goes up the chimney. Would an outside wood burning stove be worth looking into? This is uncomfortable, and I am not a wimpy person. Usually. I've got propane for fuel. Any help at all appreciated. BRRR!

Why do people say Disney's animated movies lack diversity?

Switching on xbox360 in a correct way?

the HDMI channel of an LCD TV normally needs a signal detection to stay in a HDMI channel. so when I switch on the TV first, I cannot switch the channel to the HDMI channel which is for my xbox when my xbox is off. I have to switch on the xbox first then quickly switch the TV channel. However, an xbox needs a display out READY so that it can be started. sometimes when I take a longer time to switch the tv channel, the tv could detect the hdmi channel but it stays blank. so what is the correct way to work it?

How could a twin be charged with a crime?

The famous nuclear development site...), the museum in Santa Fe is good; Taos for at least some hiking the trails, the church of miracles on the road to Taos from santa fe where everyone leaves their medical devices at the shrine was humbling. You can see Georga Okeefe's stuff and there is a museum in Santa Fe to Kit Carson (his house). The Taos pueblo is a toughie--expensive to get in & you have to pay to take pictures and you feel unwanted but it is a unique way of life. All the galleries on Canyon Road if so inclined in Santa Fe, and be sure and have sopapillas on the square in Albuguerque! You have a very busy schedule ahead of you!

I own a boutique... issues with other store owner in my area--- how to deal?

My boutique carries a line of clothing that is very popular. I have carried it for about 4 years and it's just now becoming a line celebrities, magazines, and other media frequently talk about/wear. The problem comes from a boutique in my area that wants to carry the line as well. My sales rep called me to ask if it would be okay to sell to them, and I said no... it's the same customer base. My rep had no problem with this and said it's probably better to just have it in one store anyway. Well, this other shop calls my rep each week and tries to come up with new reasons as to why I shouldn't be the only one in my area to have it. She even went so far as to place an order--- just faxed it in! So, my rep calls me today and said the woman called her again, this time claiming that my boutique just got a new owner "two weeks ago and they are dropping all the current lines"-- which is a blatant lie. She was concerned because this woman is telling lies about me to other in the profession.

Can anyone give me some tips for writing a legal letter with an offer to settle outside of court?

A few months ago I won a judgement against my former Slumlord, in the amount of $3650.00. He has more than enough meens to pay this amount, but he has chosen to continue on in his ignorance. I went to my local courthouse and asked for what they call a payment hearing, at which he will have to bring all records of his finances, show all property he has, etc. What I asm wondering at this point is, if it might be better for me to offer him some sort of settlement offer, if he does have to come here for court, it is about 500 miles driving, plus a 3 hr ferry ride, plus hotel costs, also I will be able to recover interest, process server charges, and court filing fees. I would rather just get all of this over with, what would be a fair amount to offer him to settle, how long should I give him to pay, and how should I word my letter. Thanks for any tips!!!!!!!!!!

There is so much talk about China buying American debt, there's little info on how the Chinese can actually afford to buy up this debt. Where is there money coming from? How do you know if you should go to therapy?

speaking of first hand expeirience, therapy isn't for everyone. I've had clinical depression for 4 years and therapy only made things worse for me. But i feel like it could be different for you, i don't like to open up and tell my most secret feeling to a complete stranger, but judging that you feel comfortable asking anyone out there willing to answer for help you probably have an easier time opening up to people. If you feel like you need someone to talk to and are comfortable with it therapy might be a good move. The one thing i've learned is you have to know what makes you happy to be happy, and it sounds easy but really isn't. The biggest thing that can help you when your confused is to find something to dedicate your life too. The one thing that helped me more than anything and i owe my life too is football. You need to find a pion and i gaurentee their is one out their that suits you. A therapist may be able to puzzle your emotions together and find that perfect thing that can help you. What to do when boyfriend is very large...?

I have had a few previous partners before my current boyfriend. We just began having for the first time recently and it has been quite uncomfortable. His is wide (which is part of the problem), but then it is also really long. It is painful when he goes too far and finding a rhythm is difficult. My past partners have been more average and there were never any difficulties with them. Extreme ual frustration, how to cope!?

I am a 22 year old woman, and I have an extremely high drive. I haven’t slept with anyone in a long time and it’s just making me irritable, unfocused, and depressed. I just graduated college and moved back home with my parents, so I don’t have much a of a social life anymore, as all my friends are either still at school (hours away) or have moved back to their hometowns as well. I work full time as a preschool teacher, and all my coworkers are women, so there’s no luck there either. I’m so EXTREMELY ually frustrated.
